I can’t believe it’s already the 9th of September – the day we fly out to Nautilus. I think this is the first time in my life I have ever bought a one-way flight to somewhere!  (although Tatum is a more seasoned traveller).

It’s an early(ish) start, heading to the airport at 6am. We’re not exactly travelling light – we have 6 bags checked in and given they each about 30Kg – so we’re already adding a fair bit of weight to Nautilus.  We certainly had a few funny looks in T5 with all that luggage. However, we have tried to pack all down to everything we need for the next 6 months – so it’s everything from bedding to tools and pots and pans (we stopped short of packing the kitchen sink).

Next steps are to see if all the bags arrive, find a nice taxi driver who can get us to the marina and get everything loaded.
